A hands-on internship bridging cross-channel social media execution, studio photography, and visual content design.
My Role
At Marleylilly, I work as a Social Media Marketing Intern focusing on content creation and channel management across Instagram, Pinterest, X, Threads, and Facebook. From writing captions and scheduling posts to staging studio photoshoots and creating Reels, I get to blend marketing strategy with hands-on design. I also assist with product photography, photo editing in Photoshop and Lightroom Classic, and digital monogramming for brand assets.

Instagram Reels
in The Studio…
In the studio, I have had the amazing opportunity to be part of photoshoots not only behind the scenes, but also in front of the lens. By helping the creative team with mini photoshoots and posing for products, I have been able to learn so much about photography and the creative process. Being part of the final image has allowed me to see firsthand how adjusting lights, turning my body, and making small micro-adjustments can completely change a photo. Being in front of the camera has also given me a new perspective on studio lighting and how movement can be used to manipulate the light and create the scene we envisioned.
I’ve spent so much time learning in the studio, and I recently got the chance to stage and shoot some products on my own! I can’t wait to share more as I learn throughout the rest of the semester!
